A group of Boeing employees are seated on a plane, buckled in and ready for takeoff.
The pilot’s voice comes over the intercom:

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard. Today you’ll be flying on our brand-new 370 aircraft, fresh off the line from our friends at Boeing.”

Instantly, chaos erupts. The Boeing employees leap from their seats, shoving into the aisles and scrambling to get off the plane as fast as they can.

Everyone panics—except one elderly man, who stays calmly seated, completely unfazed.

A nervous young executive stops and stares at him.
“Didn’t you hear the announcement?” he says. “If we don’t get off now, this plane could fall apart in midair!”

The old man smiles and replies,
“Son, I’ve been an engineer at Boeing for over 30 years. I’ve seen the cost-cutting, the outsourcing, the shortcuts—everything.”

Then he adds, calmly:
“And if I know anything about how this company works today, I can tell you one thing for sure—this plane isn’t going anywhere.”
