“I don’t know why, but I feel like this room is bugged,” the girlfriend whispers.
“That’s ridiculous,” her boyfriend says — but she keeps insisting until he finally agrees to look around.
He checks the drawers, behind the TV, even the curtains. Then he lifts the rug… and freezes. There’s a strange metal disc attached to the floor.
“Uh… okay, maybe you’re onto something,” he mutters as he unscrews it.
The next morning, at checkout, the hotel clerk greets them with a grin:
“Sounds like you two had quite a night!”
The boyfriend snaps, “And how would you know? Are you spying on your guests?!”
The clerk shakes his head.
“No, sir. But the chandelier in the room downstairs crashed to the floor.”
