An older couple took a bus trip for their anniversary.
After a few minutes, the old lady shuffled to the front and handed the driver a bag of peanuts.
“How kind,” thought the driver, happily munching them.
A few minutes later, she returned with another bag. And then another. By the end of the journey, she had given him several bags. Confused but grateful, the driver asked, “Where did you get all these peanuts?”
The old lady smiled, “Oh, my husband and I love chocolate-covered peanuts!”
The driver frowned, “But these aren’t chocolate-covered.”
The old man nodded, “Yeff… you see, our teeff can’t manage peanuts, so we just suck the chocolate off.”
