On the day of the visit, the girls found two beautifully wrapped boxes near Brian\u2019s grave \u2014 each with their names and a note saying they were from him.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"739\">Inside were pink Mary Jane shoes and heartfelt letters written by Brian before his death. He told his daughters how proud he was, how much he missed them, and even teased them to sneak cookies again.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"937\">Madison, realizing the truth, hugged her mother and thanked her for helping them visit.
