Joe Bonsall, member of Oak Ridge Boys, passed away at the age of 76 following a battle with ALS, his family wrote. The news was confirmed by the band on\u00a0X.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Blake Shelton, who released the 2016 track\u00a0Doing It to Country Songs<\/em>\u00a0featuring The Oak Ridge Boys, paid his tributes, writing, \u201cWe all lost a special person today.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m heartbroken to hear of my friend Joe Bonsalls passing,\u201d Shelton, 48,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2014 Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton)\u00a0July 9, 2024<\/a>\u00a0\u201c>wrote, sharing a throwback photo of himself performing onstage with Bonsall and the other members of the Oak Ridge Boys: Duane Allen, William Lee Golden, and Richard Sterban. \u201cI\u2019ve NEVER seen Joe when he wasn\u2019t smiling and completely full of\u00a0life. He absolutely loved singing like no one I ever met.\u201d<\/p>\n

The rest of Bonsall\u2019s fellow colleagues also paid their tributes to the late singer.<\/h2>\n

Reba McEntire posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, honoring her late friend. \u201cJoe, you were a terrific entertainer, singer, and a wonderful friend!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll sure miss your smiling face and your bubbly personality,\u201d Riba wrote alongside a photo of the two posing together. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to see you again. Love, Reba.\u201d<\/p>\n
