He was allegedly kicked out of Luke Bryan\u2019s bar, Luke\u2019s 32 Bridge bar, for a reason unknown, and told his friends he would meet them up back at the hotel, but when they returned he wasn\u2019t there. After failing to contact him or locate him through via his Snapchat location, they reported him missing on March 9.<\/p>\n<p>Search efforts were launched right after the report.<\/p>\n<p>According to the young man\u2019s stepfather, Strain FaceTimed his mother on the night of his disappearance and revealed that he had gone to two more bars the same night before he was kicked out of a third. This was the last known sighting of Strain.<\/p>\n<p>His distressed family pleaded the public and the authorities to help find their son. \u201cWe\u2019re looking for you. We are not leaving until we have you. We\u2019re going to be with you at graduation\u2026and everything\u2019s going to be fine,\u201d his step-dad said.<\/p>\n<p>On the night he vanished, Strain sent a text message to a 22-year-old woman he was reportedly seeing. The text read \u201cGood lops,\u201d which only added to the mystery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s got several friends that are female, male. His body was spotted by a worker for a local building materials company that unloads barges at the river.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy company works on the river. I have just found a, uh, dead body\u201d the worker told the police after calling 911 before adding, \u201cI believe it to be Riley.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, a preliminary autopsy shows Riley Strain\u2019s death appears to be accidental.<\/p>\n<p>Don Aaron, spokesman for the department, said a detective attended the 22-year-old\u2019s autopsy examination, and his death \u201ccontinues to appear accidental.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo foul play-related trauma,\u201d Aaron said in an email. \u201c(Toxicology) pending per usual.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We are so very sorry for the loss of this young man.
