They say that one man\u2019s trash is another man\u2019s treasure, and this saying has proven to be true many times.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of stories of people who have stumbled upon items that seemed worthless at first sight but turned out to be more valuable than anyone ever anticipated.<\/p>\n

When a man named Randy Guijarro purchased an old box with photos for $2, he never assumed that one of the photos would turn out to be an extremely rare find.<\/p>\n

The photos were very old, lacking color and taken years ago, simply relatively ordinary memories.<\/p>\n

The only reason Randy decided to buy that box was because he found the photos inside rather cool and unique.<\/p>\n

Once home, he began to flick through the photos and that\u2019s when he noticed what appeared to be a familiar face, that of Billy the Kid, known as one of the Wild West\u2019s most notorious outlaws.<\/p>\n

Billy the Kid, whose real name was William H. Bonney, was killed in 1881 at the age of 23, after living a life as a fugitive.<\/h2>\n

Besides being a rather incredible piece of history, Randy\u2019s find was also valuable.<\/p>\n

According to reports, this particular photo from the box he only spent $2 on was sold for astonishing $5 million.<\/p>\n
