\u201cMother Superior,\u201d she begins, \u201cI need to confess. I used the Lord\u2019s name in vain today.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Mother Superior looks concerned. \u201cOh dear, what happened?\u201d<\/p>\n
The nun explains, \u201cI was playing so well\u2014on pace to break 80 for the first time ever. All I needed was a par on the 18th hole. I hit a perfect drive, straight down the fairway, but a sudden gust of wind pushed it into the rough.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWas that when you said it?\u201d the Mother Superior asks.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, I managed to stay calm,\u201d the nun replies. \u201cThen I hit a solid 8-iron to the center of the green\u2014but out of nowhere, a squirrel ran up, grabbed the ball, and dragged it into the bunker.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mother Superior gasps. \u201cSurely that\u2019s when you lost your temper?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cStill no,\u201d the nun says. \u201cI kept it together and hit an incredible bunker shot. The ball stopped just 18 inches from the cup.\u201d<\/p>\n
