A guy suspects his wife is up to no good, so he decides to come home early from work one day. His wife greets him at the door in a bathrobe, looking like she\u2019s been dragged through a hedge backward. “Where is he?” he demands. “Where\u2019s the guy who\u2019s been sleeping with you?”<\/p>\n
\u201cI have no idea what you\u2019re talking about, dear,\u201d she responds. So, naturally, the guy goes full detective mode and starts tearing the house apart, looking for evidence. He finally reaches the second floor, looks out the window, and spots a dude sitting in a Volkswagen. \u201cAha! That\u2019s the guy!\u201d he thinks. \u201cThat\u2019s the one who\u2019s been sleeping with my wife!\u201d<\/p>\n
Fuming, he picks up the refrigerator (because apparently, that’s the logical next step) and throws it out the window. He has a heart attack from all the excitement and drops dead.<\/p>\n
When he gets to the gates of Heaven, St. Peter asks, “Why are you here?”<\/p>\n
The guy explains, “I knew my wife was cheating on me, so I came home early, saw her boyfriend in his Volkswagen, threw a refrigerator at him, had a heart attack, and died.”<\/p>\n
St. Peter looks unimpressed and says, \u201cYeah, you definitely don\u2019t belong here. Go to hell.\u201d He pulls a lever, and the guy vanishes.<\/p>\n
A few minutes later, another guy shows up at the gates of Heaven. St. Peter asks, “What are you doing here?”<\/p>\n
The guy says, “I don’t know! I was just sitting in my Volkswagen, minding my own business, when somebody threw a refrigerator at me!”<\/p>\n
St. Peter shakes his head and says, \u201cI heard about you. Off to hell with you too!\u201d He pulls the lever, and the guy disappears.<\/p>\n
A few minutes after that, another guy shows up at the gates of Heaven. St. Peter asks, “What are you doing here?”<\/p>\n
