My husband and I both work full-time and have a six-month-old daughter, Katie. His mom recently retired and offered to babysit, cook, and clean while we work. She\u2019s amazing with kids, and I truly appreciate all she does.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"363\" data-end=\"605\">But recently, she asked to be paid for babysitting. I was shocked. Growing up, my grandmother helped for free, and I used to babysit my siblings without expecting anything.
