It\u2019s been a year to forget so far for iconic songstress\u00a0Jennifer Lopez.<\/a>\u00a0Not only has 2024 heralded the breakdown of her marriage to\u00a0Ben Affleck<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 the filing of the couple\u2019s divorce was announced last month \u2013 but she also canceled her planned tour of North America before it had even started.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But the bad news doesn\u2019t stop there, as some fans have now labeled her the worst dressed at this year\u2019s Toronto Film Festival. The awards ceremony took place last week, attracting any number of A-listers.<\/p>\n

Among them was JLo, who it must be assumed is going through a rather trying period in her life right now. The 55-year-old donned a disco ball-esque dress for the occasion, stepping onto the red carpet with the aim of dazzling all those who looked upon her.<\/p>\n

Dazzle she surely did, but not all those who got a look at her eye-catching dress appeared enthused.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0On the Floor\u00a0<\/em>singer\u2019s metallic Tamara Ralph dress was undoubtedly striking, but internet users weren\u2019t exactly falling over themselves to pay compliments. On the contrary, many were of the opinion that the glimmering number, which left both sides of Lopez\u2019s body exposed, fastened with black velvet bows, demoted the entertainer to \u2018worst dressed\u2019.<\/p>\n

Lopez was at the Toronto Film Festival for the premiere of her new movie\u00a0Unstoppable,\u00a0<\/em>which she worked on with Ben Affleck. For his part, Affleck was predictably absent from the event \u2013 unsurprising given all that\u2019s gone on between he and Lopez of late \u2013 with it reported that he had other work commitments.<\/p>\n

It must be said that Lopez has never shied away from the spotlight, but the disco ball dress was conspicuous even for her. No sooner had she stepped onto the red carpet than did the internet erupt with opinions\u2026 and not all of them were kind.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Definitely] a worst dressed winner \ud83c\udfc5,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0one rather cruel user wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really ridiculous I feel like she had no class with that dress\ud83d\ude2e\ud83d\ude2e\ud83d\ude2e\ud83d\ude2e\ud83d\ude2e,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0another penned.<\/p>\n

A third added: \u201cDesperate times call for tacky dresses<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

A fourth chimed:\u00a0\u201cShe needs to take revenge out on her stylist.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\n
