The night before my wedding, I discovered my fiancé’s affair with his stepsister—and his mother helped expose him at the altar.

Oliver was in the bathroom when his phone buzzed. A message from “Seamstress” appeared:

“Babe, I can’t believe you’re marrying HER. Tomorrow, after the cake—bathroom booth #1. I’ll be waiting.”

I recognized the number. It belonged to his stepsister, Madison.

Shaking, I took screenshots and stumbled into the hallway. Oliver’s mother, Diane, found me and read the messages.

“Don’t confront him,” she said. “Tomorrow, you’re walking down that aisle—but not to marry him.”

During the ceremony, when the pastor asked for the rings, Diane handed Oliver a velvet box.

Inside was an ultrasound picture.

I was pregnant and had planned to surprise him after our wedding.

“That’s the family you could have built,” Diane said.

Then I read his messages aloud. Guests gasped, Madison fled, and Oliver dropped to his knees.

“Please, Cindy. We can fix this.”

“You made your choice,” I replied.

Diane linked her arm through mine.

“You and my grandchild will have my love and support.”

Together, we walked out, leaving Oliver at the altar.
