I Left Most of My Inheritance to My Nephew\u2014And My Stepchildren Were Furious<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 59, I\u2019ve never regretted choosing not to have biological children. My husband\u2019s adult children and I have always been respectful, but never close.<\/p>\n

My nephew, my late brother\u2019s son, has always shown up. He helps without being asked, remembers the little things, and never expects anything in return.<\/p>\n

When I updated my will, I left something to everyone\u2014but most of my estate went to him. My husband knew.<\/p>\n
