Then he broke a garden light, and I installed motion-activated spotlights. Days later, I found another light damaged\u2014and a note on my car warning me to \u201cstop watching\u201d her son.<\/p>\n

I began documenting the damage. My security camera eventually caught the boy throwing rocks at my porch light while Kendra stood nearby. I filed a complaint with the HOA, but Kendra responded by taking me to small claims court, accusing me of spying on her child. I brought my photos, receipts, and video to the hearing. The judge dismissed her claim and issued an order to protect my property.<\/p>\n
