Officer Bruce first made sure Tyler was safe. Then he asked why waiting for ice cream upset him so much. Tyler pointed to our Friday ice cream night on the calendar and said, \u201cMom never has any.\u201d He began listing the meals where I\u2019d given him the bigger portion and claimed I wasn\u2019t hungry, even when my stomach growled.<\/p>\n
