I am now engaged to my fianc\u00e9, but I am seriously considering leaving him because I hate his daughter. She\u2019s nearly 30 and refuses to move out, is a messy slob, and violates our boundaries as a couple, yet my fianc\u00e9 does nothing to address her behavior. Though I remain cordial to her, I do not feel obligated to bond with her or establish a deeper connection (her own biological mother is largely absent and has admitted she never really wanted children).<\/p>\n
While I do love him very much, I\u2019m willing to let him go so as not to rupture his relationship with his child. I am ambivalent about marrying him and fulfilling the stereotypical \u2018evil stepmother\u2019 role.<\/p>\n

If I do, indeed, leave him, I will NEVER date a man with children (of any age) again.
