It\u00a0was that taxi driver! After an\u00a0unusually long ride, I\u00a0asked him if\u00a0he\u00a0knew where the hotel was, and he\u00a0replied in\u00a0a\u00a0foreign accent, \u201cJyhes.\u201d He\u00a0kept driving, and finally, I\u00a0realized he\u00a0was driving in\u00a0large circles.<br \/>\nMy suspicions were aroused, so I asked him if he understood English. Again, he replied, \u201cJyhes.\u201d So I threw out a question, \u201cWhen was the last time the Cleveland Guardians won a World Series?\u201d Without fail, he answered, \u201cJyhes.\u201d At the next red light, I hopped out and hailed another cab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"e599d42b92530cddc130 d678c9ac111a6390ff29\">\n<ul>\n<li>One early morning, I\u00a0booked a\u00a0taxi to\u00a0the airport. As\u00a0we\u00a0were driving, a\u00a0well-known song came on\u00a0the radio. I\u00a0noticed the driver singing along, and soon\u00a0I joined\u00a0in.<br \/>\nThe driver turned to\u00a0me\u00a0and asked, \u201cShould I\u00a0turn it\u00a0up?\u201d I\u00a0replied, \u201cYes, crank it\u00a0up!\u201d So, there we\u00a0were, cruising down the highway with the windows rolled down, belting out the song together. It\u00a0was like a\u00a0duet!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"e599d42b92530cddc130 d678c9ac111a6390ff29\">\n<ul>\n<li>So\u00a0I\u00a0ordered an\u00a0Uber the other day. A\u00a0few minutes later, I\u00a0got a\u00a0message, \u201cYour car has arrived. White BMW.\u201d At\u00a0that point in\u00a0my\u00a0life, I\u00a0was really strapped for cash, so\u00a0I had specifically chosen the cheapest option. I\u00a0assumed it\u00a0would be\u00a0some old, run-down BMW model, but when\u00a0I stepped outside, there it\u00a0was\u2014a sleek new model BMW with a\u00a0pristine leather and wood interior.<br \/>\nThe driver was dressed in\u00a0a\u00a0sharp suit, which made me\u00a0think there had to\u00a0be\u00a0a\u00a0mistake. I\u00a0asked, \u201cIs\u00a0this going to\u00a018th Street?\u201d He\u00a0nodded, \u201cYes.\u201d Still skeptical, I\u00a0asked, \u201cAre you sure this is\u00a0an\u00a0economy ride?\u201d The driver smiled and replied, \u201cIt\u2019s the \u2019driver\u2019s on\u00a0a\u00a0budget\u2019 special.
