I\u2019m 34, married, a dad of one, living on a quiet suburban street obsessed with property values<\/strong> and appearances. I drive a 2009 Honda Civic<\/strong>\u2014old, scratched, paid off, and reliable.<\/p>\n

My neighbor Vernon hated it. He made passive-aggressive comments\u2014until one night my five-year-old spiked a 104.5 fever<\/strong> and I ran outside to rush him to the ER.<\/p>\n

My car was completely frozen solid<\/strong>\u2014intentionally. An icy trail led straight to Vernon\u2019s hose. He later bragged about it in the neighborhood Facebook group, calling it \u201cprotecting neighborhood aesthetics.\u201d<\/p>\n
