When we came out, we noticed a police officer writing a parking ticket.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"645\">I walked up and said, \u201cHow about giving a senior citizen a break?\u201d He ignored me and kept writing. So I called him a \u201cmeanie.\u201d That made him glare at me\u2014and he started writing another ticket for worn-out tires. Mary added her two cents and called him a \u201cgrump.\u201d He finished the second ticket, put it on the windshield with the first, and then began writing even more tickets.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"721\">This went on for about 20 minutes\u2014the more we teased, the more he wrote.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"723\" data-end=\"865\">Finally, our bus arrived, and we went home.
