A few days ago, while I was doing my makeup in the bathroom, my husband walked in searching for his electric razor. When he found it, instead of using it on himself, he suddenly turned it on and shaved a chunk of my hair without warning. I was in shock—years of growth gone in seconds.
I screamed, “Are you insane?!” but he just laughed and called it a prank, saying, “Relax, it’ll grow back.” I broke down crying, staring at the bald spot in the mirror, while he kept smirking like it was a joke. I left that same day, deeply disturbed.
Now, I’m seriously considering divorce. We’ve never had problems in our three years together, and this side of him—so thoughtless and cruel—has shaken me. Maybe it was just hair, but his lack of empathy feels like a much bigger red flag.
