Three men arrive at the gates of Heaven on Christmas Eve.
Saint Peter greets them with a serious face and lays down the rule:
“To enter Heaven tonight, you need to show me something that symbolizes Christmas.”
The first man fishes a match from his pocket, strikes it, and says, “This is a Christmas candle.”
Saint Peter smiles and lets him through.
The second man rattles a set of keys from his coat. “These are Christmas bells,” he says confidently.
Saint Peter nods and opens the gate.
Finally, the third man steps forward and pulls out a pair of red panties.
Saint Peter raises an eyebrow. “And how do those represent Christmas?”
The man grins. “They’re Carol’s.”
