Little Orphan Prays in Church for Mom to Come for Him — “I Will Take You,” He Hears One Day

Six-year-old Alan knelt in the church pew, tears streaking his face. “Dear Jesus, please send my mommy to me,” he whispered.

He had been in foster care for as long as he could remember. Other children teased him, and no one could fill the empty space his mother left behind.

Then a gentle voice broke through: “I’ll take you.”

Alan turned. A woman stood there, eyes glistening. “My baby… I’ve come for you,” she said.

It was Annette, his mother, who had left him at a shelter six years ago, terrified and alone. Beside her, a little girl whispered, “Mommy, is he my brother?” “Yes,” Annette replied.

DNA tests confirmed the truth. Alan packed his few belongings and left the foster home for the first time with his real family.

Annette lost wealth, security, and her husband, but she gained her children. Every night, Alan knelt by his bed. “Thank you, Jesus, for sending my mommy to me,” he whispered.

Lesson: Love can survive fear and mistakes — and sometimes, it brings everything back together.
