My Step Son Disrespects My Kids and Makes Mess in Our Home, While Husband Stays Silent – I Taught Him Some Manners

It was a sunny June day when my stepson Jake, 16, arrived. I’m Lisa, married to Mark, with two kids: Emma, 8, and Noah, 6. Jake had always been polite, but this summer he was rude, dismissive, and ignored his siblings.
He even made Emma clean his messy room. “Emma, you don’t have to do his work,” I told her firmly. Jake just rolled his eyes.
Things got worse when Mark and I left for the weekend. We returned to find the house trashed and Emma and Noah locked in a closet. “Why would you do that, Jake?” I demanded. He shrugged. Mark barely acted.
When money went missing, I decided to teach Jake a lesson. I planted fake money and enlisted my friend, Officer Mike. Jake sneaked into my room and was caught at a café, panicking when Mike pretended it was counterfeit.
Once safe, I showed him the video. “Actions have consequences,” I said.
From that day on, Jake changed. He helped around the house, treated his siblings with respect, and even apologized.
“Hey, Emma, Noah, want to play a game?” he asked.
Finally, peace returned, and our family felt whole again.
