I Stopped Paying “Child Support” for My Grandson After His Stepdad Tried to Erase My Late Son’s Memory

A DNA test confirmed the baby was my grandson. My husband and I stepped in—using our own savings to support him, sending monthly help, buying gifts, and loving him like family.

Years later, everything changed.

His mother got married—and now her husband wants to adopt my grandson, change his name, limit our visits, and erase my son’s memory completely. They still expected us to keep sending money.

I was stunned.

I told them: if he wants to replace my son, he can take full responsibility too. I refused to keep paying and asked them to leave.

Now they say I’m wrong—but I stood my ground.

Some lines you don’t cross… especially when it comes to family. ❤️
