Tina Turner’s 2nd husband sacrificed his organ to save her life because he ‘didn’t want another woman’
Tina Turner, one of the best-selling artists of all time, has had a career spanning over five decades. Born Anna Mae Bullock, she overcame a difficult childhood and rose to fame performing with her then-husband, Ike Turner, before launching a successful solo career.
Known for her powerful vocals and energetic stage presence, Tina delivered timeless hits like Private Dancer, What’s Love Got to Do with It, and Proud Mary. She retired from music years ago and faced serious health challenges from 2013 to 2018, including a stroke, intestinal cancer, and kidney failure. Her husband, Erwin Bach, donated a kidney, saving her life.
Despite past hardships, including an abusive marriage with Ike Turner, Tina found love again with Erwin. She has openly shared her struggles in her book Tina Turner: My Love Story and the documentary Tina, where she revealed she suffers from PTSD. Now, she seeks peace in her final chapter, away from the spotlight.
We wish her continued health and happiness.
